Adria G. Notari is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York.  She was a seafarer aboard cargo ships for 5 years and made several international voyages as captain.  At the same time, she served as an officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve, attaining the rank of Lieutenant.

After transitioning ashore, she earned her law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, in Miami, Florida, where she was a staff editor of the law review and a national competitor on the moot court/appellate advocacy team.

For 6 years, Adria defended cruise lines and insurance companies.  Now Adria helps crewmembers and passengers who are injured or assaulted on ships and boats worldwide.

As a vice chair of the Florida Bar Admiralty Law Committee, she stays on top of recent legal developments. Adria frequently presents at maritime seminars on personal injury cases, cruise ship accident investigations, marine salvage, and marine insurance.  Adria is admitted to practice in all Florida courts, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and the United States Supreme Court.

Her diverse maritime background—afloat, ashore, and in the courtroom—imparts special value to the firm’s clients.  She also speaks Spanish, Italian, and French to assist international clients.
